Amazing food especially if you are Celiac or have a gluten intolerance, I eat here almost weekly and have tried many items off the available fully gluten free menu and I have never been disappointed! The most authentic Chinese food available gluten free in Winnipeg hands down 11/10 recommend to all your friends
OBSESSED! I LOVE the food here! As someone who eats gluten free, I could almost cry thinking about how yummy the breaded chicken balls are, and how lucky I am to be able to eat them again. Everything is so tasty, especially the chicken options in my opinion. If you eat gluten free you absolutely must check this place out! There’s no dine in I believe, so prepare to get takeout or delivery.
Highly recommend Lucky Koi. The service was great: We ordered food for four around 5:50 on a mid-August Thursday night and were told it would be about 20-25 minutes. When we rolled in at 6:10, everything was packaged up and ready to go. We were in and out to pick up food inside of a minute. The food was super tasty. My children can be very picky eaters, but they loved the food and want to order Chinese all the time when we return home out-of-province. The ginger beef was a touch too spicy for them (they were perfect for the adults) but they won’t stop talking about the chicken balls! The menu was huge and had a ton of options. We were able to find good favourites while sneaking in lots of veggies for the kiddos.
If you are gluten free and visiting Winnipeg you absolutely have to try this place. I haven’t found breaded chinese food I can eat anywhere else. So, so good! As a side note, there’s no dine in, so the portion size in my picture is my own and much less than what they give you. We still have leftovers a few days later!
Fantastic gluten free menu with lots of choice. I've ordered from the gf menu multiple times, have never had any cross contamination issues & trust the kitchen completely. Best yet, choices of breaded & deep fried items! Wonton soup! Multiple noodle options! A great option for gf meals
Friendly helpful staff and amazing gluten free options with a dedicated fryer. This place is one of my favorite gluten free choices in Winnipeg. Totally seperate menu with different item numbers make it extremely easy to order and they label every item so you know you are getting what you asked for. Highly recommend this place. Pickup and delivery using an app as they don't always have a driver available.
As a celiac, I have now ordered from here several times, food is always fantastic, still hot (even though it located a distance from my place) and I have never gotten sick! Today was no different!!! Thank you lucky koi!
